River Side

So I had another blogger meet up!  At the rate of one per year, I believe I need to find more blogging friends!

My outfit was inspired by all the lovely caftan images I have been finding online as of late.  I wanted to feel light and airy in the bright hot heat!

The earrings I scored on Ebay a few years ago.  Bib necklace and ring soon to be available in my Etsy store!

Sunglasses are Liz Claiborn and the dress was a score from a clothing exchange with my friend Amber.  I believe she found it thrifting before that.

This ^ image is my favorite of the day.  Makes me feel like a model again!

Shoes by Vera Wang from my birthday gift card.  Bag from Old Navy (on mega clearance a few seasons back) and I got my fox tail on Ebay last year.

Images courtesy Kelly Ann Shuler ^_^

Here are a few others from before we hiked down to the Sunken Garden next to the Susquehanna River.

Older Outfit Post

This was an outfit I wore right around the same time of year in 2010, on a date night with my husband ^_^ I know we were going to the movies but can't for the life of me remember what we saw! I could tell you if I had my epic movie ticket collection handy...ha ha! I have been saving every ticket (movies, broadway shows, concerts, etc.) since The Mask

Hope's Birthday Party ^_^

My friend Hope turned 18 in December ^_^

Lots of fashionable ladies were in attendance, all had their own special sense of beauty which I always adore. Nice to see so many varieties of glamour.

....and the Lady of the Hour ^_^ all glammed out in rhinestones and 80's blue ball gown.

....happy birthday dear Hope...

gave me an excuse to get all dolled up other than the holidays ^_^

I pulled out my white rabbit coat which I havent even worn once since I got it last year. ^_^

I finally have the right hair color to feel comfortable in plum lipstick!
clutch (on the floor), dress, boots, and much of the jewelry from Miss Ruth's Time bomb and other various thrift/vintage shops. Necklace and 2 big costume bling rings from Hope ^_^

A Girly Day

I spent a lovely day in Harrisburg with Hope and Kelly. I adore these types of outings, and they are a rare gift these days with always being so tired from my baby growing!

We decided to have lunch at Miyako's, all of us getting rightly STUFFED for such an awesome price. MMM, sushi...I wish my baby didnt love you so much. Then I wouldn't be in danger of over doing it!!

Fashionable ladies, looking smart and meandering on 2nd street with our hot coffees in hand...^_^ It is the simple pleasures in life that make it grand.

We made one more stop at a little store which wasn't exactly a vintage or antique shop...maybe more of a junk shop with random treasures and REALLY good prices. ^_^ There's a $40 chair there I am coveting with a lion's passion!!

Then it was off to Kelly's sweet little apartment for a clothing exchange of epic proportions!!

Kelly and I's vibrant feet!!

I want to steal her hat!!

The dress and belt were both treasures acquired at the clothing exchange!!
I do love ladies with style!
