Well, Hell
I've been gone quite a long time. Life has changed completely...many times over. Please, excuse me...I wasn't trying to be rude. Here are a few recent nail art endeavors.
And, for good measure some images of myself. I did a photoshoot for a friend's salon, and allowed my hair to be cut quite short. It HURT. However, I got many compliments on the change, and I'll admit, even I liked it a little...sometimes ^_~
Working toward a nice long Ombre with Red Violets and copper tips. ^_^
and some other similar self taken images that suck just as much...lol
S'pose that'll be all for this post. ^_^ Hope to be a'bloggin' more regular here. mmmmm hm. I watched Sling Blade last night for the first time in a while. ha ha...

Gelish
Gelish by Nail Harmony in Bella's Vampire
I work as a nail tech and hair stylist at Evolve Salon. Our most popular service is the Gelish Manicure for up to 3 weeks of wear and stunning high gloss finish. These are my own real nails, however I am frequently asked if they are fake! I have changed the shape of my nails since these pictures were taken so it is a little strange to see them rather rectangular.
Gelish is my new favorite product. It allows me to use nail polish remover on clients and not lose my finish, and I can keep them longer and stronger for weeks with out the upkeep and commitment of damaging acrylics!
*tsk *tsk such a shame that I have 2 bins of OPI and Essie upstairs collecting dust...
In other news, I am contemplating getting my nose re-pierced. I talked to someone who said if I keep sterling silver or gold jewelry in it that it should not reject the piercing this time round. I do miss it so much... ^_^

still here...
I'm still here. I've recently been very busy with my career, and I'm in love with it all.
Between Ulta and Time Bomb I am now working 6 days a week, roughly 40 hours a week.
I'm the appointed make up artist and hair stylist for my friend Melissa's wedding on the 29th. Exactly one month later I am planning a photo shoot for Time Bomb. I am booking about 6 models for it, and I'm working with my friend Ted again. Life is certainly full of the possibly of creating art for me right now and I feel so excited to be sharing my energy with people.
I have a few shoots set up for fun too. I can expect to be working at least 7 days a week most of next month. ^_^ AND I still need to find time to hang out with all of my family, and keep my house clean....ah!

I distract kids with make up...
Little Dudes
This little guy was driving his mom nuts at Ulta one of the evenings I was working. I love to distract them with doing their make up like leopards. I don't know why but it was an instinctual thing and it really works! This guy got really quiet and embarrassed but was flirting with me then later, ha ha
and here was one from a month or 2 ago this kid was also embarrassed but really out going and had such a goofy spunk.

an eye brow before and after....
This is what I do for a living. My full time job is partially sales, partially services refining the wiley brows of the women in my area. This was one of my favorite before/afters. No photo shopping besides cropping and pasting them together! I used Benefit Cosmetics for the entire eye look ^_^

Stila Smudge pots are SO fab! I love the colors! I was on my way to do a cut and color at my friend Jill's house and I can't ever show up to a hair cut party with out looking FAB. ^_~ People don't trust a colorist that doesn't look her own personal best.
I'm so happy that my hair is finally growing out ^_^

Oh, Happy, Happy Day!!!

I'm as happy as my lil' Remedy looks here..ha ha!
I just got the most lovely offer from one of the owners of Time Bomb! I am going to be working there on Thursdays (one of my days off from Ulta) for around 5 hours or so AND going to be the Time Bomb ad model for an ebay/etsy/online shop campaign! SQUEE!! I could run around the house giggling and dancing like a child! I'm also already all over their web site and face book with some random images I took in their clothing. ^_^
My most favorite job ever was when I was working at The Atomic Warehouse in Harrisburg PA. The hours were great, the work was magical, and the feeling I got from actually taking items out of these old homes, listening to these old folk's stories and seeing what they have collected during their adventures...it's just a rush you can't really ever put into words. I used to work 12 hour days, hauling around old furniture, pushing myself to my physical limits.....just to feel like so physically exhausted but alive and grinning....it's addictive.
I won't be doing anything like this at Time Bomb but I feel so lucky to be a part of the family now ^_^ They are expanding soon and I'd love to help be a part of it. I have always wanted to write a comic story about a dusty little boutique...rich with the possibility of magic and adventures...and now I'ma be working in one! So I get to play with make up at my full time job, and wardrobe/accessories at my part time job. I don't think I ever imagined my life being quite this good.
Sometimes I feel so blessed. I get down on myself at times and doubt my skills at modeling and other things... but then these opportunities fall into my lap, and I can once again take them into my hands and try to make my way in this world.
